If there is a fragrance that can instantly transport you back to the old house in your hometown,
immersing you in the scent of wooden cabinets lingering in the humid air, this must be it.
The collision of frankincense and patchouli in the top notes creates a wonderful aroma reminiscent of a traditional Chinese herbal shop.
Yet before you can fully savor the bitter herbal scent,
it is quickly enveloped by the bitterness of tobacco and the oily warmth of camphor in the base notes.
Perhaps this is the sense of security understood only by those with a taste for "unconventional fragrances."
As time passes, the light woody texture of metasequoia and cypress,
along with the sweet and sour notes of pineapple, gradually emerge in the dry down.
They do not clash with the "distinct personality" of the top notes,
but instead add a gentle layer of depth to this captivating fragrance.
This scent is inspired by the chapter "Brute Neighbors" in Thoreau's Walden,
guiding people to see themselves as part of the animal kingdom and foster an equal relationship with all other creatures.
